Roberta Rabellotti (MSc Oxford University, PhD IDS University of Sussex) is Professor of Economics at the University of Pavia. Her research interests lie at the intersection of innovation economics, trade and development studies with a focus on developing countries. She has regional expertise on East Asia (especially China) and Latin America and the Caribbean. Roberta regularly provides academic advice to the European Commission, the Inter-American Investment Bank (IADB), OECD; UNIDO; ECLAC-UN, UNCTAD, ILO and various national and regional governments.
She has published widely in international journals and her last books were published by Harvard University Press, Edward Elgar, Palgrave and Routledge.
